  • Mark Poelzer joined Annapolis in 2008. Mr. Poelzer brought with him 11 years of direct experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Having served as CFO of a number of private oil and gas companies, Mr. Poelzer has a wealth of experience in financial, accounting and taxation related matters. He was Vice President, Finance & CFO of Vigilant Exploration Inc., Berland Exploration Ltd., Questor Technologies Inc., and Passage Energy Inc. and a director of Tyrannex Energy Ltd., Tempus Energy Ltd., Breton Energy Inc., Forge Petroleum Corporation and Muirfield Resources Ltd. Mr. Poelzer is currently also a director and Chairman of Forge Oil & Gas Limited and a director of Artis Exploration Ltd. Mr. Poelzer earned a B.Comm. (Accounting) in 1992 from the University of Saskatchewan and a Chartered Accountant designation in 1995.

  • Jody Forsyth

  • Mr. Forsyth co-founded Annapolis in 2006. For the 11 years prior, he served as an officer or director of and consulted to numerous public and private oil and gas companies. Having served as an officer or director of 14 oil & gas companies, Mr. Forsyth has a wealth of experience in the oil and gas business, structuring and managing equity financings, corporate sale transactions, and corporate governance matters. He was a Vice President of both Krang Energy Inc. and Berland Exploration Ltd. and served as Corporate Secretary of Avalanche Energy Limited, Passage Energy Inc., Ice Energy Limited, Glacier Energy Limited and Evolve Exploration Ltd. Mr. Forsyth is currently a director of Corval Energy Ltd., Venturion Oil Limited, and Astra Oil Corp., sitting as Chairman of Corval. He also sits on the Board of Trustees (and executive and investment committees) of the College of William & Mary Foundation in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Forsyth earned a B.Sc. (mathematics) and Dip. Eng. in 1985 and an LL.B. and M.B.A. in 1989, all from Dalhousie University. He completed an LL.M. in 2008 at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.

  • Mr. Conrad joined Annapolis in 2010. Prior to joining Annapolis, Mr. Conrad spent three years working in the Corporate Finance Department at Peters & Co. Limited, an investment dealer that specializes in the Canadian oil and natural gas, midstream and oilfield services industries. Mr. Conrad has experience in mergers and acquisitions, public and private company financings and other facets of financial analysis and valuation related matters. Mr. Conrad graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.Sc. in Business Administration (Finance) in 2007 from the University of Arizona and is a CFA Charterholder.

  • Dan Gundersen

  • Mr. Gundersen has over 23 years of direct oil and gas industry experience with a focus on asset evaluation, development, and operations. He was most recently President & CEO of Tempus Energy Ltd. Previously, he was CEO and director of Maple Leaf Royalties Corp., a publicly-traded junior oil and gas royalties company that was sold to Eagle Energy Inc. in 2016. He is the former Vice President, Energy Finance for Sandstorm Metals & Energy Ltd. where he focused on oil and gas streaming transactions. Prior to Sandstorm, he was co-founder and Vice President, Engineering for DeeThree Exploration Ltd., a Calgary-based TSX- listed oil and gas exploration and production company. Before DeeThree, he was Vice President, Engineering at Dual Exploration Inc. and he also held management roles with Cyries Energy Inc. and Devlan Exploration Inc. Mr. Gundersen is a professional engineer, a member of APEGA, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
